As an academic nerd, I do enjoy reading and thinking about your essays. I wonder how many conservatives realize that if they can "buy" their very own bureaucratic agents those same agents can later be "bought" by someone else. That's the problem with patronage, the higher bidder wins. Loyalty in such a setting is an illusion.

At this point, I think the far right perspective is more along the lines of "chaos is a ladder" - instability will benefit them
