It's frustrating that Jordan, Greene, Boebert, Hawly, etc. were elected because they give good performances, want to destroy our institutions as you describe, and never build anything. I know that many people are angry at Congress but this is hardly the way to fix things. However, there is no excuse for the Republican party to bend to their will.

Going to be interesting to see how long the situation unfolds, and whether someone more moderate (like McHenry) starts to become more palatable
