Totally agree about Dingle—heard some great pub music and the best fish and chips of my life at the Fish Box.

Beautiful photos! Oh my goodness how we loved the Dingle Peninsula! But I’m surprised you didn’t mention the outstanding live music and even traditional crafts that we found there. Well , it was 25 years ago, so maybe it’s time to see if they’re still there…

Did a trip in the west country last year, Kerry, Kinsale, other environs. Beautiful, incredible music in every pub and it barely rained!

Never been to Ireland (except on a layover) and now it's on my bucket list - thank you!

We went to Dingle, Ennis, and Galway in October 2024. We loved the music, the food, and the water. The historical tours we took were very interesting. Our favorite historical destination was the Blasket Islands, with its fascinating story of island life. (And I can see the Michigan hat in one of the pictures.)

Sounds like a great trip. I will confess that my view of Ireland is so much on this given that they are one of the two most anti-Israel countries in Europe.
